How to get to the Barn:
By Car –
Since I do not know where you are starting from click the link below to go to Google maps and type in your starting address to get their route selections –
For reference, the main road is the B3276.
By Plane –
Newquay Airport is just 15 minutes down the road so getting from the Airport to the Barn is fairly straightforward:
- By Taxi, either order once you land or booked in advance (local Taxi details are listed on our usefull contacts page here).
- By Bus, currently the no.56 Padstow to Newquay bus stops at the airport and at Porthcothan Bay. Here is a link to the Bus Operators current timetables – First Group.
- Or by hiring a car for your stay. Both Hertz and Europcar have manned offices at the Airport.
By Train –
The closest station to The Barn is Bodmin Parkway which is about 40 mins drive from the Barn.
Unfortunately there are no local car hire outlets near the station so you would need to either get a taxi or a bus to Padstow then another from Padstow to the Barn.
Once at the Barn there is the regular (currently hourly) bus from the beach in either direction and the coastal path for a bit of fresh air.
